In Spirit and Truth Reading Roundup: December Edition
Merry Christmas friends! I’m sending out this month’s Reading Roundup a bit early, before I head out of town for the holidays and take a break from my computer (for at least a little bit).
As always, there’s a lot to share, so I’ll get right to it. Make sure you check out the articles in bold for some thought-provoking reading (and in one of them, a quote from yours truly).
Reminder: This is a collection of reading about the twin crises of sexual abuse and institutional betrayal in the Catholic Church, particularly in the United States. I only share pieces that I find thoughtful and worth reading, but that doesn’t mean I agree with every word contained in these articles. If you care about these issues, I think it’s worth reading from a broad variety of sources and perspectives. I hope you do too.
