Good for you!!! Prioritizing self care and listening to that need is modeling to everyone one of us survivors. That includes surviving any of life’s challenges not only clergy abuse. Yes. I am experiencing post traumatic growth and interior justice. Clergy abuse “didn’t take me out” but made me angry enough to go after in me what led to such vulnerability to predators. It wasn’t my fault. But I was deeply wounded and that made me more vulnerable. I focus on the good I did with it. That pulled me out of the muck. Good wins. It’s in me. Always.
