Thank you for pointing out this article Erica. I did read it earlier this month, but I chose not to include it in my round-up because of the graphic descriptions of abuse that might be triggering for survivors. However, I agree that this is an important case to highlight.

Didn't you link to a graphic Satanic black mass? I'm not trying to challenge you. I just want to understand. How is the public supposed to know what is really happening if we sugar coat the horror?

I'm ready to give up trying to inform people in order to create real change and PREVENT more victims. I happen to know the priest. I was brutally raped by a priest from the SSPX. The public needs to know.

Thank you for the question Erica. I'm so sorry for what you have suffered, both in your assault and in the way that people have responded - or not responded.

I don't remember the particular article you're referring to about a black mass, but I do agree that it's important that we don't sugar coat the horror of what's happening. I try to balance that importance with the reality that many of the readers of this blog are survivors themselves who want to look at these articles but might have limits to how much graphic detail they can handle.

But your point is well taken, and I bet this conversation in the comments has encouraged more people to read that article than if it had been buried in a long list of news.

St. Anthony Mary Claret, Confessor & Bishop:

"I know by experience that the greatest punishment that can befall a people is a bad priest! It is best to leave a town without a priest than send one unworthy. If God does not send me men who are truly called, God Himself will have to take care of the people and souls by means of the angels. A call is God's gift. I must not bring the unworthy into the sheepfold to destroy it, instead of tending it."

That said, the problem lies at the heart of the Ecclesiastical hierarchy: the Pope and Bishops. However, the laity have an equal duty to expose everything contrary to Faith and Morals.
