You provided a link to a story provided by the Vatican about actions by Pope Francis to address sex abuse that is pure propaganda. The McCarrick report was a complete whitewash. Richard Sipe’s 2016 report to McElroy, Pierre, and Francis of the 12 seminarians and priests abused by McCarrick was never mentioned in the report. No one has covered up more abuse than Francis who is afraid to return to Argentina where he faces many death threats from abuse victims and members of their families. Thank you for sharing your thoughts Gene. Just to clarify, I'm not a journalist. I simply collect various articles for people to read and trust them to draw their own conclusions from the whole collection over time. As I say in the disclaimer at the top: "I highlight articles from a variety of sources and perspectives, and inclusion here does not mean that I agree with everything in a given article."
